Engineer by trade, builder by habit.

I’m Marco, a senior software engineer based in Lucca, Italy, with more than ten years of experience building software for companies of every size, in sectors such as publishing and advertising, digital health, retail and energy.

Most of my career has been on the backend: APIs, integrations, data-heavy systems and the cloud infrastructure they run on. Over time I’ve also taken on the frontend and the product side, which is why I now work on projects end to end, from idea to launch.

As a freelancer I work with founders, CTOs and small and medium companies, in Italy and internationally. I care about software that does what it’s meant to do, and that is easy to maintain and to scale.
